What fascinated me about Arco Iris was its geometry. The diagonal cut, together with the white and blue water streaks descending on either side, creates a composition that feels both powerful and balanced. Rather than depicting the climb itself, the artwork translates that natural structure into thread.

First freed by Edu Marín on 8 October 2020, Arco Iris follows the exposed arête of El Plàtan on Montserrat's north face. Originally opened as an aid climb in 1979, it is now considered one of Europe's hardest multi-pitch free climbs at 8c+.
